Night park

Night park covered with snow and brightly lit by street lamps. A place for quiet walks and a place of seclusion in the bustling city. The painting was painted in 2020 in the winter plein air. Handmade oil painting. City park is depicted in a charming winter setting. The Petrochemists’ Park is a popular recreation place among locals and guests of the city, located in the very center of Angarsk. The park complex provides excellent opportunities for a pleasant pastime. Cozy alleys are framed by rows of deciduous and coniferous trees, and the central element around which the park paths converge is a Roman fountain decorated with bas-reliefs. The decorative elements of the wrought-iron fence completely duplicate the ornate patterns that adorn the fence of the Summer Garden in St. Petersburg. There are many options for children’s recreation in the park: there are attractions, swings, a playground. Address: the object is located between Glinka and Lenin streets. To get to the place by public transport, you need to get off at the “Palace of Creativity” bus stop.

Angarsk is an industrial city. Therefore, parks are necessary for the city, because they are the kind of “lungs” of the city. Parks and squares are perhaps the only place in the city limits that bring people closer to nature. Currently, there are five parks in Angarsk: behind the Neftekhimikov Palace of Culture, behind the Sovremennik recreation center, as well as the Stroiteley and Pobeda parks named after the 10th anniversary of Angarsk. Also among the places of mass recreation of Angarsk people are the Pioneer square, the water sports complex on the Elovskoye reservoir, the Buratino children’s playground, the children’s park in the 12th microdistrict, green areas in blocks 85 (square with a marmot) and 88 (at the intersection of Karl Marx and Tchaikovsky).
